Quarterback recruit Kai Locksley verbally committed to Florida State on Thursday.

Locksley is the No. 12-ranked dual threat quarterback in the class of 2015, according to the recruiting website

Locksley chose Florida State over offers from Alabama, Ohio State and UCLA, among other programs.

He becomes the 16th member and one of three dual-threat quarterbacks in Florida State's 2015 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 9 in the country by Rivals.

The other dual-threat quarterbacks in the class are De'Andre Johnson and Deondre Francois, who also announced his verbal commitment on Thursday.
