The report says that Jake Coker, a transfer from Florida State, will back up Sims but will also play against West Virginia.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban said earlier this week that a decision had not been made about who will replace AJ McCarron.

"We're going to continue to rep both guys," Saban said earlier this week. "Whatever pitcher starts the game isn't necessarily going to pitch nine innings."

Alabama is favored by more than three touchdowns over the Mountaineers.
