Betting odds: Jim Harbaugh is favorite to be next Michigan coach
LSU head coach Les Miles is second at 5/2 odds, while Tennessee head coach Butch Jones and Oklahoma State head Mike Gundy both have 7/2 odds. Former Buccaneers and Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano rounds out the group with 9/2 odds.
On Tuesday, Michigan fired head coach Brady Hoke after four seasons. The Wolverines went 5-7 in 2014 and saw their win total decrease in each year under Hoke.
Harbaugh played quarterback for four years at Michigan from 1983-1986. Miles was a Wolverine from 1974-1975, was an assistant coach at Michigan from 1980-1981 and returned to coach the offensive line from 1987-1994.
Interim Michigan interim athletic director Jim Hackett is leading the coaching search. Hackett took over as interim AD after former athletic director Dave Brandon resigned on Oct. 31.
