Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright will miss several weeks with a sprained right foot, head coach Rich Rodriguez told reporters Monday.

Rodriguez said the junior sustained the injury at some point during the team's 56–30 loss to UCLA on Saturday. A timetable for Wright's return is not yet known.

“Having Scooby out several weeks is something we’re going to have to deal with," Rodriguez said during his Monday press conference.

Wright, who had previously been sidelined with a knee injury earlier this season, has five solo tackles through two games for the Wildcats. He was injured in the season opener and returned to action Saturday against UCLA.

A preseason All-America in 2015, Wright won the Chuck Bednarik Award and first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2014, and was second in the nation in solo tackles with 99.

Arizona (3–1) will travel to Stanford (3–1) on Saturday for a pivotal Pac-12 matchup.
