June 15, 2016 is analyzing the three biggest commitments of the week. Quarterback Tate Martell pledged to Ohio State, defensive end Luiji Vilain announced he plans to attend Michigan and safety Maleik Gray revealed he’s headed to Tennessee. Below is some information on each of the three prospects, with analysis from

Position: Quarterback
Height/Weight: 5’10.5’’/203 lbs
High School: Bishop Gorman (Nev.) position rank: 1 national rank: 14

Analysis (from

Martell is undersized but has some nice physical tools to work with. He has a very live arm, can consistently spin the football and is accurate on the short, intermediate and deep throws. He's a very good athlete with a strong lower body and moves around very well in and out of the pocket. He's a dual threat quarterback who plays with a poise and maturity beyond his years and has an incredible work ethic off the field.

Position: Defensive end
Height/Weight: 6’4’’/238 lbs
High School: Episcopal (Va.) position rank: 10 national rank: 138

Analysis (from

Vilain is explosive off the edge. He's extremely athletic and very strong. Vilian changes directions well, has great speed and is good in pursuit. He is very good against the run and the pass. Vilain also has a high motor and plays very hard. He needs to continue to work on his technique and develop some moves, but he has a very high ceiling and the potential to become a dominant player at the collegiate level.

Position: Safety
Height/Weight: 6’2’’/205 lbs
High School: La Vergne (Tenn.) position rank: 3 national rank: 44

Analysis (from

Gray spends a lot of time inside the box on the high school level, but he will likely start out in the secondary at safety in college. He could become a hybrid due to his size, his ability to play the run, and how effective he can be used in blitz packages. He really can run and close on the football. He plays with great instincts and he stays around the ball. Gray is very athletic and he shines at running back and wide receiver some as well. His home is on defense in the future.
