ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) Michigan says a recruiting firm is screening applicants for the Wolverines' football coaching vacancy.

Associate athletic director Dave Ablauf says Friday that Korn Ferry will be paid at least $80,000 for its work and possibly up to $250,000.

Ablauf says the process is ''is moving along and many potential candidates have reached out and expressed an interest'' in the job. The school won't comment on potential candidates.

The Wolverines fired coach Brady Hoke this month. As in previous Michigan coaching searches, speculation has swirled around San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and LSU coach Les Miles, both of whom played for the Wolverines.
