Four-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack announced on Friday that he has decommitted from Texas A&M

Mack originally committed to the Aggies in October 2013, over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State, Texas and others. 

A native of Gladewater, Texas, he is ranked by Rivals as the No. 43 player in his 2015 class, the sixth-best defensive tackle and the fifth-best player from Texas.

Mack will play in the 2015 Under Armour All-America Game on Jan. 2 in St. Petersburg, Florida

Earlier Friday, Texas A&M lost out on five-star linebacker Malik Jefferson, who committed to Texas over the Aggies and UCLA

Texas A&M's 2015 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 5 in the county by Rivals.
