Alabama RB Derrick Henry headlines AP All-America teams
Alabama running back Derrick Henry, who won the Heisman trophy on Saturday, highlighted the 2015 AP All-America teams released Sunday, being named to the first team. Along with Henry, fellow Heisman finalists Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and running back Christian McCaffrey, who fell in the all-purpose category, earned first-team honors.
Temple linebacker Tyler Matakevich became the first player from the school to be named a first team All-America since running back Paul Palmer in 1986. Earlier this week, Matakevich won the Chuck Bednarik Award, given to the top defensive player in the country.
