Alabama defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson announced his decision to forgo his senior year and declare for the 2016 NFL draft on Friday.

“I’d like to thank coach [Nick] Saban and [defensive line] coach Bo [Davis] for pushing me and making me the man I am today.” Robinson said during the press conference. “Outside of football. It’s more so about things you want to do in life outside of football, and coach Saban and coach Bo have really helped me to become a better man.”

Robinson made 46 tackles and 3.5 sacks this season.

Teammate Derrick Henry also announced that he will enter the NFL draft during the press conference. ESPN’s Joe Schad first reported the news on Thursday.

The running back rushed for a school-record 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns this season and earned the Heisman Trophy.
