Tom Brady will be the honorary captain for Michigan at the Wolverines’ home game against Colorado on Sept. 17, coach Jim Harbaugh told Rich Eisen on his radio show Wednesday.

Brady’s appearance at the Big House will be during the second week of the four-game suspension he was handed for the Deflategate controversy.

Brady also participated in Michigan’s theatrical National Signing Day event in January.

Harbaugh has a history of inviting celebrities to Michigan games. He presented Derek Jeter with a personalized jersey last season. Michael Jordan, whose Nike brand just signed an endorsement deal with Michigan, will be the honorary captain at Michigan’s opener on Saturday.

The game is Michigan’s third of the season and one of five straight home games the Wolverines will play to open the season.
