Deion Sanders, Skip Bayless Share Surprising Heartfelt Moment on ‘Undisputed’

FS1’s Undisputed was aired live from the University of Colorado campus ahead of the Buffaloes’ huge Saturday afternoon tilt against visiting No. 8 USC in Boulder.

Naturally, Colorado coach Deion Sanders joined the show, which featured USC alum Keyshawn Johnson as well as NFL analyst Michael Irvin.

In a heartfelt moment, Sanders expressed his appreciation for Bayless and all he has done in giving opportunities on the national stage to the Black community.

“Thank you, man,” Sanders said toward the end of his segment. “Because you get heat oftentimes, but you’ve given a lot of us opportunities that people will look past and they don’t understand and don’t recognize. None of us are perfect, but you have given us, and y’all know darn well what I’m talking about, so many opportunities, man, and I appreciate you for that, boss.”

Sanders and Bayless hugged it out before the show went to break, with Bayless thanking Sanders for his kind words.

Can’t say that we had a heartfelt moment between Sanders and Bayless on the bingo card for Friday’s edition of Undisputed, but it’s clear that the Colorado coach has an immense amount of appreciation for the FS1 host, despite the criticism that he may receive from the sports world.

The Trojans (4-0) and Buffaloes (3-1) are scheduled to kick off at noon ET Saturday on Fox from Folsom Field.
