Travis Kelce’s Bold Prediction for Deion Sanders, Colorado in 2024: ‘Undefeated’

Travis Kelce played tight end at Cincinnati before entering the NFL in 2013, but the Kansas City Chiefs superstar is all in on Deion Sanders and Colorado.

Kelce has been among the most sought-after interviews ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, where he and the Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas. Unsurprisingly, not all of the questions he’s fielded have been about the game, but one—shared by Denver sports outlet DNVR—pertained to the buzziest program in college football.

When asked for a prediction on total wins for the Buffaloes in 2024, Kelce didn’t shy away from a bold answer.

“Undefeated,” Kelce said confidently. “I’m taking Prime every single time. I’m not a betting man, but my money’s on Prime.”

Coach Prime got off to a mixed start with the rebuilding program in ’23, going 4–8 after rocketing to a 3–0 start to the season. Sanders hasn’t backed down from similarly bold predictions for his team’s upcoming season, recently doubling down on the idea that Colorado can make the 12-team College Football Playoff field

Colorado rejoins the Big 12 for ’24, after leaving the league for the Pac-12 back in ’11. The Buffaloes get off to a tough start with FCS power North Dakota State on Aug. 31. They make their Big 12 debut at home on Sept. 21 against Baylor
