CINCINNATI — UC football legend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is used to the Super Bowl media frenzy at this point. Kelce is playing in his third consecutive big game and answered a few questions about his alma mater this week. Most notably, he would love to bring the New Heights podcast back to campus for another live show like the one at Fifth Third Arena last year.

“The Bearcats, baby,” he said on Monday. “Man, I would love to have another live show down there. We had too much fun.”

Plenty of fun could be in store for Kelce right in his backyard this fall. He's very excited to see Cincinnati football play Nebraska in person at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO.

“It’s been really cool to hear that the Bearcats will be at Arrowhead for opening night against a great program like Nebraska,” he told the media. “It will definitely get the Bearcats excited. I know I will be in attendance cheering on the ‘Cats for sure.”

The game kicks off Cincinnati's season on Aug. 28.
