Dumb NFL visors help derail Jimmy Fallon's Bradley Cooper interview

Bradley Cooper stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to talk about his upcoming role as John Merrick in a Broadway revival of The Elephant Man, but the NFL "Flair Hair" visors the two wore led to a bit of levity that was followed by a full-blown, must-see laughfest.

The duo seem barely able to contain themselves when Cooper mentions a trip to London to see Merrick's deformed bones, and then the whole thing falls to pieces as they crack up over the idea of discussing the subject while wearing their ridiculous looking visors.

At one point Cooper realizes the only way forward is to abandon the goofy hats, but since filming had already begun, they had to keep them on for continuity.

Cooper, who starred in Silver Linings Playbook, is wearing an Eagles visor, while Fallon dons a visor bearing the Jets name, which is a laughing matter of its own these days.
