LeBron James may have switched teams, but his old neighbor Rick Ross thinks the Miami Heat are still a better team than the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he is willing to put down big money to back it up.

Ross appeared on New York's Hot 97 with Funkmaster Flex on Wednesday night and talked about James' departure, saying he was surprised that the superstar went back to Cleveland, but that the Heat will benefit from being a more balanced team this season.

Ross is so confident that he claims to have put $100,000 on the Heat to finish the season with a better record than the Cavaliers.

Ross also hints at a coming collaboration with the Miami Dolphins, who he previously met with to discuss becoming a minority owner.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were 3-3 as of Nov. 12 while the Miami Heat were 5-3.
