Cuban slugger Alfredo Despaigne hit a home run in a game on Monday and took until almost Tuesday to touch the plate. That is only a slight exaggeration.

He enjoyed a casual saunter around the bases, in the sort of manner befitting a beautiful day under the Caribbean sun.
