Pacers, Wizards clamor for photos with Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi and his Argentine teammates took in Wednesday night's Pacers-Wizards game in Washington, D.C. Not surprisingly, players from both teams sought out photos with the international soccer star.
Wizards power forward Nene, a Brazilian, even ignored his post-game media obligations to do so.

Paul George, who is nearing his return to the Pacers, made sure to get a photo. On his Instagram account, he captioned the below photo, "Y'all know how much I love FIFA!!! Awesome flick with one of the best to ever do it!!! #RealFan #VamosMessi #ThatBoyCold #MightGoPlayFifaNow #ArgentinaMyFaveTeamNow #SorryUS #LolJKAllJokes #ScolaWhatUp #Legendary."
Pacers power forward Luis Scola, who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, naturally got in on the action.

You'll note the height differences in these photos—none was greater than the moment Messi met 7'7" Gheorghe Muresan, one of the two tallest players in NBA history.

The Pacers ended up winning a close game, 103-101. Wizards coach Randy Wittman apparently wasn't entertained. He started walking off the court before the game was over.
