The University of North Dakota has to find a new nickname to replace "Fighting Sioux" and asked the public for suggestions and it got ugly. The teams should be called "Flat," one person said, because "the whole crappy state is flat." Another suggested "Mountees," saying "I mean you guys are in Canada right?" One brave conspiracy theorist suggested Fantasies, "Because North Dakota is a made up state." My favorite is "2's" because (as one fan eloquently put it), "Not only does Grand Forks smell like #2, but UND takes #2's in all big game situations."
Japanese Army Puts All Other Star Wars Celebrations To Shame
Monday was Star Wars Day and celebrations ranged from Chewbacca throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park to GOP presidential candidates tweeting out their favorite Star Wars-themed message. The Japanese Army, however, took it to a whole different level when it used 3,500 tons of snow to create this massive Star Wars sculpture.
