Stephen Colbert’s new crew is made up of NFL greats

Friday September 11th, 2015

Stephen Colbert is in his first week as host of The Late Show and he is still getting to know the staff, and Thursday night the comedian discovered many of his co-workers are actually NFL legends.

The late night show has Joe Theismann behind camera 2, Richard Dent helping out with wardrobe, former Steelers coach Bill Cowher in charge of makeup and fiery pep talks and Franco Harris in the all important role of catching any instruments that may get dropped from the balcony.

Most importantly, Colbert has famously stern running back Jim Brown serving as his audience warm-up, and using intimidation rather than jokes to make sure the audience is laughing.
