LSU’s marching band is hoping to make South Carolina feel a little bit more at home after the team’s Saturday game was moved from Columbia to Baton Rouge due to severe flooding.

The Golden Band from Tigerland will learn the tune to The Fighting Gamecocks Lead the Way and We Hail Thee Carolina, the school’s fight song and alma mater, respectively, after Hurricane Joaquin forced the game to be played at Tiger Stadium.

In another gesture of goodwill, LSU is planning to give the proceeds from ticket sales at Saturday’s game to South Carolina, and Red Cross volunteers will be placed at each gate to collect donations for victims of the flooding, according to WYFF-4 News.
