NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is breaking out a special helmet for this weekend’s race at Talladega.

NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is breaking out a special helmet for this weekend’s race at Talladega. 

Stenhouse, a Mississippi native, is wearing a helmet styled after the ones the Ole Miss football team wore its big win over Alabama in September.

Stenhouse’s decision to wear the new helmet at Talladega (in the state of Alabama) can’t be a coincidence, can it?

Unfortunately for Stenhouse, he’s already been eliminated from NASCAR’s Chase for the Cup.
