If you ever need to know what time it is, ask Carmelo Anthony, who is showing off his substantial collection of high-end watches in a new interview with the New York Post.

In the piece, Melo talks about how he moved away from the diamond-coated flash that dominated timepieces when he came into the league, and moved towards more traditional timepieces from brands like Patek Phillipe and Audemars Piguet.

“I don’t like to boast, but I am like one of the first guys [in basketball] to embrace the world of timepieces and watches. I know the history for each brand and [I like] sharing that knowledge with everybody else.”

Anthony says he owns over 20 watches, all of which he keeps in a custom built display case, and compares his interest in watches to women’s interest in handbags.
