Shaq has not been afraid to branch out into as many things as possible in his retirement, releasing his own line of soft drinks, endorsing just about every product he can get his hands on and joining the panel on TNT’s coverage of the NBA.

The legendary big man also is trying out his hand in the EDM resurgence under the moniker of DJ Diesel, and he played what appeared to be one of his biggest shows yet in Belgium recently as part of the Tomorrowland Festival. Afterwards, he posted several clips of his set to his Instagram page

This seems like an odd career move for Shaq, although the Hall of Famer has already scored one platinum and one gold album back in the mid-1990’s when he was pursuing a career as a hip-hop artist, while also launching his considerably more successful basketball career.

A cynical listener may wonder if Shaq is even doing anything behind all that equipment on the stage, but he managed to make people embarrass themselves by dancing, and isn't that the true goal of any EDM DJ?
