P.K. Subban writes letter to patients at Montreal Children’s Hospital

Even though he’s been traded, P.K. Subban’s special relationship with Montreal Children’s Hospital won’t change.

P.K. Subban might be the nicest guy in all of sports.

Back in September, the Montreal Children’s Hospital announced he would donate $10 million and lead a fundraising effort to raise even more money. That’s in addition to his regular visits to the patients.

Will that be changing now that Subban has been traded to the Nashville Predators? Not a chance.

Subban recently wrote a letter to the kids at the hospital pledging to continue his support. He also posted a video of the kids reading it.

“I’m not a hockey player, I’m just a guy who plays hockey, and some day I won’t play hockey any more,” he said after making the donation. “Every time you walk into this hospital, you'll know what I stand for.”
