Pats beat Bucs, Michael Irvin wears ugly suit
The Patriots squeaked past the Buccaneers last night, thanks to kicker Nick Folk melting down and missing multiple field goals (to which Twitter had many jokes). The pregame show featured Cam Newton's apology (which received mixed reviews) and Michael Irvin's pink checkered suit (which received negative reviews). Tom Brady and Jameis Winston had a nice chat after the game that left a big impression on the young quarterback.
MLB Playoff Round-Up
Little Jose Altuve blasted three home runs to lead the Astros past the Red Sox in Game 1 of their ALDS series. Chris Sale picked a bad time to suck (his words) and John Farrell made more shaky decisions. In Cleveland, Terry Francona's gut feeling proved to be right as Trevor Bauer dominated the Yankees. Aaron Judge struck out four times. The two teams face off again today at 5:08 p.m. ET.
