He really does seem out of place.

Celtics’ Grant Williams Trolled for Attending Star-Studded Independence Day Party

In this story:

The stars were out for the Independence Day party hosted by Michael Rubin—CEO of Fanatics and former minority owner of the 76ers and Devils—on Monday. Also, Celtics forward Grant Williams was there.

That was the first observation many made online when the Boston role player was photographed partying alongside the likes of Tom Brady, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Durant, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Joel Embiid and so many other A-Listers.

Not everyone can be Justin Bieber or Kylian Mbappé—two other attendees—but fans really got on Williams, a fourth-year player who made 23 starts for the Celtics last season, for being at the bash in the Hamptons.

Evidently, Rubin knows the key to putting together a good party guest list: you can’t only have stars; you also need some folks who can space the floor, defend multiple positions and give six good fouls.
