The NFL is back, as several teams had their respective rookies report for training camp this week.

The defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs are one of those teams. Kansas City is quite excited about the speed and elusiveness of wide receiver Rashee Rice, who was selected with a second-round pick out of SMU.

When speaking with the media this week about his first week of training camp, Rice went off-script with a hysterical answer regarding conditioning.

“I told them, ‘to be honest with y’all, I don’t mind puking,’” Rice said, per ArrowHeadPride.com. “That just means I’m working as hard as I can so that I won’t puke anymore, and will be ready for the games.”

The speed of Rice, who clearly has no regard for his well-being when conditioning, will be on full display when the team takes the field this fall. Given the elusiveness of Kansas City’s wideouts recently, he should fit right in as another weapon at the disposal of quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
