Erin Andrews Explains What Turns Her Husband, an Ex-NHL Player, Into a ‘Little Wuss’

Prominent sportscaster Erin Andrews hilariously ragged on her husband’s off-the-ice toughness during the latest episode of the Calm Down with Erin and Charissa podcast.

Andrews, who hosts the shows with fellow Fox Sports reporter Charissa Thompson, took her husband Jarret Stoll to task about one of his issues around the house. The two-time Stanley Cup champion, who was known for his toughness on the ice over his 12-year NHL career, apparently becomes a “wuss” after hearing small noises around their house.

“He can like, beat the s--- out of guys when he was on the ice and be so tough and hit the crap out of people. But, if there’s one noise in our house, it’s just like him and Howie are the biggest freaking wusses. It’s so bad,” said Andrews. “Oh God, it’s so bad.”

As many of us know, weird noises coming from empty rooms when the house is quiet  can often be startling. So much so that they’re even enough to shake up an imposing 6’ 1”, 215-pound former front-line player, despite the fact he wasn’t afraid to mix it up on the ice with some of the hockey’s toughest players,

Stoll posted 144 goals and 388 points in 872 games after spending stints with the Oilers, Kings, Rangers and Wild. The rugged center was a pivotal member of the Los Angeles Stanley Cup champion squads in 2012 and ’14.
