LIV made some recent additions who played last week in its season debut event Mexico: Thomas Pieters, Mito Pereira, Sebastian Munoz, Dean Burmester, Danny Lee and Brendan Steele were all in the LIV field.

The question is: who might be next?

Many have been discussed, but many who were once rumored never actually left. LIV Golf has also said they will not add any new players during this season.

According to a press release from Betting Sites UK, odds are available in Europe and they have made Xander Schauffele the favorite at 3/1 to make the jump.

“I don't really get asked too much, to be honest,” Schauffele said last fall at the Presidents Cup when asked about rumors that both he and Cantlay could potentially jump to LIV. “I don't get hounded down by too many questions about it. It's part of the job to answer questions that you guys ask us.”

At the Memorial last year when the issue of jumping to LIV was on the very front burner, Schauffele admitted he had talked with LIV and would listen depending on how the professional golf landscape changed.

“If everyone and their mother decided to swing over there and play golf, it would be very stupid for me to stay here as well,” Schauffele said after his second round at the Memorial.

And while Schauffele’s name has been discussed as a potential defector, rumors have also swirled around Cantlay.

“I think it's important for everybody to be informed,” Cantlay said at the Presidents Cup. “I mean, maybe not at the end of the day, but definitely everybody, this is their business that they run, and so, being accurate and up to date with all the new information and not really getting caught in any rumors, I think, is really key.”

Cantlay went on to say that he believes everybody should at least understand what the decision is. Even if the decision to stay on Tour feels like a non-decision, it's a decision.

Here are the UK site's betting odds for the next top player to join LIV golf.
