A pivotal District 4-6A matchup in Texas high school football takes shape Thursday night.

Trophy Club Byron Nelson travels to Keller to take on the undefeated Indians. Keller is tied for first place in the district with Southlake Carroll, while Byron Nelson is part of a four-way tie for third, along with Keller Central, Saginaw Boswell and Keller Timber Creek.

POSTGAME

- Keller with a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback, rallying from 14 points down twice to get a huge district win and move its record to 6-0.

FOURTH QUARTER

- Blake Dyniewski just ran for a first down and it looks like Keller is going to pull this one off and stay perfect on the season.

- Incomplete pass on fourth down with 58 seconds left, and Keller will get the ball back. But Byron Nelson does have all three time outs left.

- Byron Nelson faces a fourth-and-long near midfield with 1:02 to play. Keller takes a time out.

- TOUCHDOWN AND 2-POINT CONVERSION KELLER. And just like that, the Indians take the lead as Blake Dyniewski breaks loose from 37 yards out. Matt McCroskey then takes in a keeper for two more points. (Keller, 49-42 | 1:52, 4th)

- Byron Nelson has to punt the ball away and Keller gets the ball back near midfield with more than two minutes remaining.

- TOUCHDOWN KELLER. Indians are within one point as Matt McCroskey launches a 31-yard strike to Chris Hanson. But they miss the PAT, it goes wide right. Holy mackerel. Byron Nelson, by the slimmest of margins, is still in the lead. (Byron Nelson, 42-41 | 4:35, 4th)

- FUMBLE RECOVERY KELLER. Byron Nelson fields the ensuing kickoff, but they FUMBLE IT. And the Indians get it. Business has definitely picked up.

- TOUCHDOWN KELLER. Indians within a touchdown once more after a short run from David Makia. (Byron Nelson, 42-35 | 5:18, 4th)

- Keller is inside the Byron Nelson 5. Still some hope for the Indians.

- TOUCHDOWN BYRON NELSON. Bobcats have an answer for the Keller score, as Macavion Hill gets his second score on the night, this coming on an 18-yard run. (Byron Nelson, 42-28 | 7:25, 4th)

- Byron Nelson quickly in the red zone, looking to get some separation.

- TOUCHDOWN KELLER. Indians get within a score, as they force Byron Nelson to punt and march down the field, capped by a 1-yard run from Blake Dyniewski. (Byron Nelson, 35-21 | 9:51, 4th)

- Byron Nelson forced a punt late in the third, and all the momentum is with the Bobcats as we head into the final quarter of play.

THIRD QUARTER

- TOUCHDOWN BYRON NELSON. Bobcats latest TD was set up by an end zone interception from Pearce Martinson. The score came on a 1-yard pass from Ben Odom to Macavion Hill. (Byron Nelson, 35-21 | 6:01, 3rd)

- TOUCHDOWN BYRON NELSON. Keller fields the second-half kickoff, but fumbles it to the Bobcats, who take advantage and punch it in on an 8-yard run from Tre Green. (Byron Nelson, 28-21 | 10:42, 3rd)

HALFTIME

- A very entertaining opening half in Keller ends with a deadlock between the two teams. Who will break the tie to start the second half?

SECOND QUARTER

- TOUCHDOWN BYRON NELSON. Bobcats tie the score once again, this time inside the final minute of the opening half. Ben Odom connects with Nolan Hawkins from 14 yards out, the second time tonight those two have hooked up. (21-21 | :52, 2nd)

- TOUCHDOWN KELLER. Indians go right back in front as David Makia takes it in from 29 yards out. (Keller, 21-14 | 3:37, 2nd)

- TOUCHDOWN BYRON NELSON. Bobcats answer and tie the score as junior quarterback Ben Odom takes a short-yardage keeper into the end zone. (14-14 | 6:25, 2nd)

- And here's another angle of that one-handed TD catch from Keller's Graham Kaler.

- TOUCHDOWN KELLER. WOW, WHAT A CATCH FROM receiver Graham Kaler, who makes a ONE-HANDED grab and goes in from 26 yards out. Holy mackerel. (Keller, 14-7 | 10:00, 2nd)

- Keller is inside the Byron Nelson 30 in the early moments of the second period of play.

FIRST QUARTER

- INTERCEPTION KELLER. Byron Nelson gets inside Indian territory, but Keller's Cooper Glaze steps up to pick off a pass, and the Indians take over late in the opening quarter.

- TOUCHDOWN KELLER. Indians have an answer, as they get a TD drive of their own, as Bryce Fonteno goes in from 3 yards out, and the PAT ties things up. (7-7 | 3:37, 1st)

- TOUCHDOWN BYRON NELSON. What a start for the Bobcats, who take the opening kickoff and march all the way down the field. They cap it off with a 2-yard TD pass from Ben Odom to Nolan Hawkins. PAT is good. (Byron Nelson, 7-0 | 7:33, 1st)

- Keller wins the toss and will defer to the second half. Byron Nelson to be on offense first.

PREGAME

- Live from Keller ISD Stadium, it’s a huge District 4-6A game as the Bobcats of Byron Nelson take on the undefeated Indians of Keller.

ABOUT TROPHY CLUB BYRON NELSON

The Bobcats hope their latest visit to Keller turns out better than their previous trip there. On Sept. 24, they went to Keller and came away with a 47-34 loss to Keller Central.

Byron Nelson’s other loss came in the season opener to Arlington. The Bobcats picked up a forfeited win against Lewisville and then got wins against Rockwall-Heath (46-44) and Haslet Eaton (52-34).

ABOUT KELLER

With a win Thursday, the Indians can exceed last season’s win total, when they went 5-6 and lost in the bi-district round of the playoffs.

Keller has scored 55 points in three of its first four games, against Burleson, Midland and Keller Timber Creek. On Sept. 25, the Indians put up 54 points and needed every one of those points as they ended up beating Saginaw Boswell, 54-53.
