On May 10, Coors Field was covered in snow

One day after rain forced a postponement of the Dodgers-Rockies game at Coors Field, snow covered the stadium on Sunday.
Inclement weather from Winter Storm Venus has played a major role in this series, as Friday night's series opener was lengthened by a 64-minute rain delay before first pitch and a 1-hour, 40-minute delay before the game was called in the sixth inning. The Dodgers picked up the rain-shortened 2–1 win.
On Saturday, the teams didn't even take the field—umpires called it two hours before first pitch.
So on Saturday, there wasn't much surprise when the Rockies woke up to snow decorating the Coors Field grass.

Surely, this isn't entirely unexpected, as the Rockies quickly pointed out.
"Wow" is not to be confused with, "Whoa."

Don't worry, we've played ball on these days before. Right, @Mets & @Braves?

Raz is already hard at work! #Rockies http://t.co/T0tUaC2IV4
Rockies pitcher John Axford seemed more daunted by the temperature than anything.

Alas, the Rockies did receive a gesture of goodwill from another team when the Atlanta Braves offered up the service of Chipper Jones and his ATV.
@Rockies @Mets if any of the guys need a ride to the field, we know @RealCJ10 has an ATV that works in the snow... pic.twitter.com/SwT34m3vyk

UPDATE: The field was clear in time for first pitch. Nice work, Rockies ground crew.
