The Chicago Cubs have agreed to trade infielder Starlin Castro to the New York Yankees in exchange for pitcher Adam Warren and a player to be named later, the team announced late on Tuesday.

Infielder Brendan Ryan will be heading to Chicago along with Warren, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.

In order to fit newly-signed second baseman Ben Zobrist, the Cubs moved Castro, who has played both shortstop and second base during his career.

On Tuesday, Yankees manager Joe Girardi called second base the team’s “most unsettled position.”
