The Houston Astros go into Tuesday’s game with the Toronto Blue Jays hoping to capitalize on the great vibrations of Monday’s series opener when starting pitcher Ronel Blanco joined a short list of Astros pitchers to throw a no-hitter.

The Astros (1-4) got their first win of 2024 on Blanco’s complete-game no-hitter, as the only two baserunners he allowed were walks to former Astros outfielder George Springer, who now plays for the Blue Jays.

Blanco threw the 17th no-hitter in franchise history and the first since Framber Valdez threw one on Aug. 1 of last season. Valdez just happens to be the starting pitcher for Tuesday’s matchup.

The Astros won Monday’s game, 10-0, so they brought the offense, too. Right fielder Kyle Tucker hit two home runs and drove in four runs, while catcher Yainer Diaz also hit two home runs and drove in two runs. Infielder Jeremy Peña also hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot.

Here is the preview for the game, with probable pitchers, starting lineups, how to watch and listen, injury updates and more.
