The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to sweep the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday afternoon at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers won Friday's series opener in walk-off fashion, and then took Saturday's game in another one-run victory.

“I’m excited,”
starting pitcher Tarik Skubal said after Saturday's game, in which he earned his first win as a Dodger. “You got a ton of really good arms here and a ton of talent. It’s just about us going out there and playing baseball and executing. And when we’re doing that, we’re the best team in the league.”

On Sunday, the Dodgers will look to extend their winning streak to six games before heading on the road for a big series against the Atlanta Braves.

Left-handed pitcher Blake Snell is taking the mound for the Dodgers looking to continue his dominance since coming off the injured list less than two weeks ago.

Across his two starts, Snell has allowed two runs over 12 innings for a 1.50 ERA. He has 15 strikeouts to four walks and has given up a total of just five hits.

As for the Pirates, they'll be going with a bullpen game, starting with right-handed pitcher Lake Bachar.

This will be Bachar's second time opening for Pittsburgh this season, but his sixth time opening overall in 2026 after spending the first half of the season with the Miami Marlins.

Bachar has a 3.75 ERA across 43 appearances (69.2 innings) between the two teams this season. Since being acquired by the Pirates ahead of the trade deadline, he owns a 3.27 ERA over five appearances (11 innings).

Bachar pitched against the Dodgers on Friday, completing one scoreless inning while walking three batters and striking out one.
