It's going to take baby steps to get this offense back and click on a consistent basis. The Cleveland Guardians took that first little step on Tuesday night in a win over the Detroit Tigers.

The Guardians only scored two runs, which isn't going to cut it in most games. But they had seven hits on the night as well coming from a spot in the lineup that really needed it.

Amed Rosario typically starts off slow. April is never been his best month of the season as he has a career batting average of .230 during that time span.

However, 2023 was espcaielly difficult as he hit just .227 in April.

Sometimes all a player needs to turn everything around is just one game. Did we just watch that game for Rosario?

Amed was a perfect 4-for-4 on that night against the Tigers' pitching. This included a massive triple in the eighth inning that scored Will Brennan and gave the Guardians a crucial insurance run.

It's no secret that Rosario has struggled at the start of the year. After the game, he said he focuses on staying positive and realizing that there will be ups and down during the season.

Tuesday night's game marks Rosario's second four-hit game of the season and his 13th since 2021.

We all know Amed can hit, now he just needs to start doing it consistently so this offense can get it going.
