White Sox at Padres: Lineups, How to Watch, Predictions, and More

Can San Diego take down the White Sox today?

After being rained out yesterday, the San Diego Padres will get back to work against the Chicago White Sox. They will look to break their small losing streak and get back on track with a win.

Pitcher Matt Waldron will take the mound for San Diego, and he has been electric to start spring. He holds an ERA of 1.00 over nine innings of work, making a strong case for himself to be included in the Padres starting rotation.

The Padres are trotting out a similar lineup to what we will see on Opening Day, so this will be a nice test for them. They have plenty of offensive firepower to work with, but now it's all about fine-tuning everything for the season.

Predictions

The Padres are putting out some of their better players in this one, giving them a solid chance to make some noise. Look for the stars to show out against Chicago today.

Padres win 6-2 over the White Sox.

More Padres News

This is another chance for Waldron to make his case to be in the rotation for the season start. He has looked very good so far this spring, but there is work still to be done.

He is trying to beat out a few other arms, so another strong outing will likely go a long way for him.
