Fan Makes Wild Prediction That Comes True in Reds' 8-2 Opening Day Win Over Nationals

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Reds beat the Washington Nationals 8-2 on Thursday. Expectations are high for the 2024 Reds and they delivered on Opening Day.
From Nick Martini hitting two home runs to Frankie Montas tossing six innings of shutout ball—Cincinnati got off to the start that everyone hoped.
Bryce Spalding is one of the biggest Reds fans on social media. He made a funny Opening Day prediction on Wednesday and it came true.
He predicted that Martini would be in the Opening Day lineup, which was far from guaranteed. He also wagered on Martini to hit a home run and to do so in his first at-bat.
Spalding also predicted that the Reds would win 8-2. He might not be a fortune teller, but he should play the lottery. All three of those predictions came true.
