Jonathan India Removed From Reds Lineup After Getting Injured During Warmups

The Reds play the Brewers on Monday night.

CINCINNATI — Jonathan India suffered a left leg contusion after he was hit by a ball during warmups ahead of Monday's game against the Brewers and has been taken out of the lineup.

India was set to lead-off and DH for Cincinnati. Instead, Stuart Fairchild moves into the leadoff spot and will play right field. Meanwhile Will Benson will DH and Bubba Thompson will hit ninth and play center field.

I heard the crack of a bat, followed by a scream from Jonathan India (in apparent pain) who had been standing in foul territory, near the #Reds dugout.
