Chicago White Sox - Sean Newcomb, LHP

Sean Newcomb will be on the mound as an opener for the White Sox on Sunday. Newcomb will likely give way to Erick Fedde as the bulk reliever. In his last seven games (10.1 innings), Newcomb has not given up a run and is a great choice to open the game.

Fedde, on the other hand, has struggled in his last seven games with a 5.06 ERA. However, in his last appearance against the Cubs, he went 4.2 scoreless innings of bulk relief. He will need to be sharp against a Mets lineup that has mashed of late.

New York Mets - Nolan McLean, RHP

The rookie Nolan McLean will be on the mound for the Mets in this one. Overall, McLean has been having a great season, with a 3.34 ERA in 25 starts (142.2 innings) and 162 strikeouts. However, he has struggled with control, hitting 14 batters and walking 54. The White Sox will need to exercise more patience than they did in Saturday's game to win this one.
