The New York Yankees head to Arizona to face the defending National League champion Arizona Diamondbacks after pulling off one of baseball’s rarities — a four-game sweep.

In this case, the Yankees (4-0) beat the Houston Astros on the road, winning all four games, including a 4-3 victory in the finale.

In that game, Juan Soto’s RBI single drove in Gleyber Torres and pushed the Yankees into the lead in the top of the ninth. In the bottom half, the Yankees escaped giving up two hits to start the frame and then got three Astros to ground into or fly into outs to keep the win.

This has been about as good a start as the Yankees could have asked for after finishing barely over .500 and missing the playoffs last season for the first time since 2016.
