Bucks' Jabari Parker tears ACL, expected to miss rest of season
Bucks rookie Jabari Parker is expected to miss the remainder of his rookie season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee, the team announced on Tuesday night.
Parker left Monday's game against the Suns in Phoenix early in the third quarter after the knee appeared to buckle on a drive to the basket. He was then carried off the court by teammates.
The injury was initially called a sprain, but the Bucks said an MRI on Tuesday afternoon revealed the tear.

Over 25 games this season, Parker averaged 12.3 points on 49 percent shooting, 5.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists while helping the Bucks post a 13-12 record. A gifted scorer, Parker is considered one of the top candidates for the league's Rookie of the Year award.
Milwaukee selected the 6-foot-8 forward with the No. 2 pick in this year's draft out of Duke. Prior to joining the Blue Devils, Parker gained widespread renown for leading Simeon (Ill.) Career Academy to four consecutive state championships.
The Chicago native graced the cover of Sports Illustrated when he was 17 years old.
