76ers News: Patrick Beverley Reacts to Beating Another Former Team

In this story:
On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia 76ers found themselves matched up against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Not only was it a chance to get back on track, but for one player, it opened the door to getting revenge on a former team.
During his 11 years in the NBA, Patrick Beverley has bounced around the league. Among the teams he's played for is the Timberwolves. Following a four-year stint with the LA Clippers, the veteran point guard was traded to Minnesota. He spent one season with the franchise before being traded again in the mega-deal that landed the Timberwolves Rudy Gobert.
Thanks to incredible performances from Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, the Sixers were able to take down the Timberwolves. After the win, Beverley took to Twitter to take a jab at his former team. He let the world know that they just beat down on the No. 1 team in the Western Conference.

Beverley had a quiet night on Wednesday but still managed to fill the box score against his former team. In 17 minutes of action, he posted a stat line of five points, three rebounds, three assists, and one block. Beverley connected on two of his five shot attempts, including going 1-for-2 from beyond the arc.

Beverley did not shy away from bashing his former team when the Sixers beat the LA Lakers and isn't backing down now. Games like this provide him extra motivation as he attempts to prove to organizations why they shouldn't let him go.
The tenacity and unapologetic nature that Beverley plays the game with is a big reason why he has quickly become a fan favorite in Philadelphia.
