Hawks Downgrade Starters Ahead of 76ers Matchup

In this story:
On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will travel to take on the Atlanta Hawks as they look to shake off their recent run of poor form.
They'll have to do so without Joel Embiid, amongst others, as the reigning MVP continues to suffer from ankle soreness, which is what kept him out of the Sixers' recent match against the Utah Jazz.
While Nick Nurse will have to comb through some injuries on Wednesday night, the same can be said for Atlanta's Quin Snyder, as they are set to be without a plethora of their stars.
De'Andre Hunter, Trae Young, and Clint Capela have all downgraded in some fashion in the lead up to the match.
Hunter's inactivity is nothing new as the 26-year-old has been out for some time, recovering from non-surgical procedure which was conducted in an effort to reduce inflammation in his right knee.
In being without the Philadelphia native, the Hawks miss out on his consistent offensive presence, putting up an average of 15 points per game, while grabbing four rebounds.
When it comes to Capela, he has been downgraded to questionable due to soreness in his right achilles.
The 29-year-old has proven to be quite the durable option for Snyder having only missed one game so far this season, in which he is averaging an 11-point ten-rebound double-double.
As for Young, he has been listed as probable, only being downgraded due to soreness in his right shoulder.
Similar to Capela, Young hasn't touched the bench all that much this season, only missing two games. This durability has helped Young kick off what is to be another big year for him, averaging 28 points per game, on an efficient 36 percent from beyond the arch.
The Sixers will take on the Hawks on Wednesday night, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST.
