Kelly Oubre Reacts to 76ers Rookie's Career Moment vs. Magic

Coming off a big win against the reigning champions, the Philadelphia 76ers hit the road to take on the Orlando Magic. By the end of the night, one of the biggest stories was from a player that hasn't seen much NBA action this season.
Due to the Sixers being down multiple rotation players, rookie Terquavion Smith got a chance to see the floor in the final minutes. He made the most of this opportunity, sinking a pair of triples to cap off a 124-109 win for the Sixers.
As Smith knocked down these pair of shots from beyond the arc, the rest of the team expressed their excitement on the bench. Joel Embiid capped things off by giving the rookie the game ball in the locker room postgame.
Among the many players excited to see Smith score his first points was Kelly Oubre. The veteran forward was on the floor for this moment and assisted on one of the makes. After the win, he praised Smith for being able to come in after sitting for so long and notch his first career points.
"That's everything man, that's what we enjoy. It makes my heart whole to be able to pass him the ball, him just wet the shot after sitting on the bench for two hour is just insane. It goes to show you he's always ready and not afraid of any moments," Oubre told reporters.
Smith has spent most of his time in the G-League, where he has been a key player for the Delaware Blue Coats. Through seven games this season, he is averaging 21.3 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 2.8 APG.
Oubre had a strong outing against the Magic, scoring 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting along with four rebounds and two assists.
