Oddsmakers List Sixers as Potential Bronny James Landing Spot

In this story:
Major news broke last week regarding the 2024 NBA Draft. After one season in college, LeBron James’ son declared to enter the field of prospect. His draft fate is not full set yet, but there is a chance Bronny James is part of the upcoming class.
James played 25 games at USC this year, where he averaged 4.8 PPG, 2.8 RPG, and 2.1 APG. As the son of one of the NBA’s biggest stars, this decision has garnered a lot of attention.
Following this news, oddsmakers began putting out odds of which teams could end up selecting Bronny if he stays in the draft. As expected, the LA Lakers were one of the main favorites. However, the Philadelphia 76ers were also listed with some of the best odds.

As of now, the Sixers have two picks in the 2024 draft. Recent mock drafts currently have them picking at No. 16 in the first round and No. 41 in the second round.
Since declaring for the draft, Bronny’s projections have been a wide range. He is considered a late first-round pick at best, with going undrafted still being something that’s on the table. Bronny is expected to workout with NBA teams leading up to the draft to try and gauge his stock. After that, he’ll either stay in the draft or return to college and enter the transfer portal.
Daryl Morey has always been known to take big swings, which is why the Sixers likely have some of the best odds. LeBron has stated in the past that he wants to play with his son at the pro level. Drafting Bronny could be a chance for any team to try and lure the four-time MVP to their team. It’s also worth noting that LeBron has a player option for next season, meaning he could enter free agency this offseason if he wanted to.
