Anthony Edwards did not play his best on the court during the Minnesota Timberwolves' 98-90 win over the Denver Nuggets, but his trash-talking game was at its absolute peak.

Over the course of the Timberwolves' victory in Game 7 of the West semifinals, which clinched the franchise its first berth in the Western Conference finals since 2004, no one was safe from Edwards' verbal jabs.

First, Edwards, who shot just 6-for-24 from the field but hit a big three-pointer to extend the Timberwolves' lead to 10 points with 3:07 remaining in the fourth quarter, had words for an elderly gentleman seated courtside after sinking the triple.

That's right, get out of here grandpa! What did that seemingly innocent old man do to you, Mr. Edwards?

Then, since one Nuggets fan wasn't enough, Edwards went after all of them as the seconds ticked down on Minnesota's victory.

The Timberwolves star, after waving goodbye to the crowd at Ball Arena, then jawed back-and-forth with Nuggets star Nikola Jokic.

But Edwards made sure to save his best line for Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, with whom he had a heated exchange with in the waning seconds of Denver's Game 4 win. Murray, whom Edwards told to "keep talking" after Game 4, had a red-hot first half but struggled to make much of an impact down the stretch against the Timberwolves guard's lockdown defense.

And Edwards made sure to let everyone know about it with a savage, one-liner while walking through the bowels of Ball Arena in a video courtesy of Ben Golliver of The Washington Post.

Edwards and the Timberwolves will take on the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, which tips off Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. ET at the Target Center.
