Clippers vs. Suns Full Game 4 Injury Report

This era of Clippers basketball has in many ways been defined by poor luck and heartbreak. That trend continued throughout the course of this season, but it may have hit its peak with the recent injury developments. Already without Paul George due to a sprained knee, the Clippers surprisingly lost Kawhi Leonard to the same injury as well. Leonard was unexpectedly ruled out shortly before Game 3, and has now been ruled out for Game 4 as well.

For Phoenix, the only name on their injury report is Cameron Payne, who remains questionable. For the Clippers, they only have two names on their injury report, but those names are Paul George and Kawhi Leonard - and both are out for Game 4.

While the Clippers battled hard in the absence of their two stars in Game 3, valiant efforts from both Russell Westbrook and Norman Powell were not enough to defeat the Suns. The Clippers did not play a perfect game, and certainly were not helped by the officiating crew, but the outcome of Game 3 helped illuminate just how shorthanded LA is right now. Even on a night when they got 30 points from Russell Westbrook, and 42 points from Norman Powell, the Clippers were unable to slow the attack of a Phoenix team that is loaded with star power.

Hoping to avoid that trend in Game 4, the Clippers do not want to head back to Phoenix facing elimination in Game 5.
