It was announced by TicketMaster that Drake's concert on August 6th at the FedEx Forum in Memphis has been cancelled. No reason for the cancellation was initially provided, but more clarity has since been revealed.

A statement from Drake's representatives that was given to FedExForum and reported by the Memphis Commercial Appeal read, "Due to the magnitude of the production of the Drake concert, it is logistically impossible to bring the show as designed to the FedExForum on August 6th. Unfortunately, the show is cancelled."

This is of course very disappointing for those who purchases tickets, but refunds are going to be issued. It's unclear exactly what caused the inability for the show to be performed, but it has officially been cancelled. The FedExForum, where the Memphis Grizzlies play, has hosted several shows over the years, along with their regularly scheduled NBA basketball games.

It's unclear if Drake plans to reschedule another show in Memphis, which is typically what happens when artists are unable to perform a scheduled show for whatever the reasons may be. If Drake does not return to Memphis on this tour, it will certainly be disappointing for those who were looking forward to seeing him perform.

With several shows still left on his tour, Drake may have to get creative with his return to Memphis if that's what he plans to do, but as of right now the August 6th show has been cancelled.
