Shannon Sharpe Blasts Ja Morant Amidst Latest Report

In this story:
While it's unclear how legitimate the reports are about Ja Morant and his camp claiming the gun in his most recent video was a toy, this has become a talking point over the last several days. Since it first began circulating that Morant's camp was claiming the gun was a toy, people have been weighing in on that development, including NFL legend and NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe.
"Here we are again," Sharpe said on Undisputed. "Ja Morant refuses to accept accountability and responsibility for his actions. Again, it's somebody else. Somebody from the backseat passed up a toy gun. What grown ass man you know play with toy guns and listen to NBA YoungBoy?"

From how NBA commissioner Adam Silver has been speaking about this situation, it does not sound as if the league determined Morant's gun in that video was indeed fake. Had that been one of the findings of their investigation, it likely would have been announced by now, rather than Silver continuing to speak on the severity of Morant's actions - along with the looming discipline.
As previously mentioned, there has been no official statement from Morant regarding the gun supposedly being fake, but it has now been widely reported that this is the claim of his camp. If that's the case, Shannon Sharpe believes Morant is ducking accountability for his actions.
