Tillman has not played since January 29th, which was of course with Memphis. The good thing about this Celtics team is they have a lot of depth, so Tillman does not need to rush his way back from injury. Once he gets healthy, Tillman does not project to play a ton of minutes for Boston, even if he does crack their regular rotation.
A versatile big, Tillman can help Boston bolster their front court depth once he returns from injury. A solid piece for Memphis the last few seasons, Tillman was one of the pieces that helped turn the Grizzlies into a playoff team in the Western Conference.
Now in Boston, Tillman has an opportunity to compete for an NBA championship on the best team in basketball. For now, Tillman's focus is getting healthy and back on the court.
